De Ateliers proudly presents five amazing short films by former artist participants. Each piece is 7 to 16 minutes long and is screened in a room of its own. All works present the world as we know it in images we have never seen before. Facts appear fabulous. Fiction seems to be telling the truth. Based on various genres and formats, the films display an inventive use of early cinematographic means as well as state of the art technology. The five narratives speculate on alternative scenarios. What if migration from South to North is reversed? What if despised politicians resurrect from their graves? Featuring films by artists Minne Kersten (Amsterdam/Brussels), Benjamin Ramírez-Pérez & Vincent Ceraudo (Cologne/Paris), Ghita Skali (Amsterdam), Cristóbal León & Joaquín Cociña (Santiago de Chili) and Raphaela Vogel (Berlin).
