After the summerbreak in early September, many galeries and art centres open their doors again for a new season of exhibitions. Several former participants of De Ateliers will show new work. American artist Anders Dickson will make his Dutch gallery debut at Annet Gelink Gallery in Amsterdam (opening Friday Sep 6th, 5-7pm). Young Lithuanian painter Gabrielė Adomaitytė has her first exhibition ‘Documentary Exactness’ at the prestigious Galerija Vartai in Vilnius (opening Thursday Sep 5th). Katja Mater has a soloshow at Amsterdam art centre P///AKT (opening Saturday Sep 7th, 8-12pm). Ana Navas Is showing new work in ‘Roll up (one’s) sleeves’ at tegenboschvanvreden, Amsterdam (opening Saturday Sep 7th, 5-7PM), Vincent Ceraudo, Rustan Söderling and Paul Geelen take part in ‘Secret Society’ at AVL-Mundo in Rotterdam (opening Saturday Sep 7th, 4-9pm). Erik van Lieshout’s soloshow ‘The Beer Promotor’ opens at Guido W. Baudach in Berlin (opening Friday Sep 13th, 6-8pm). New paintings of Rob Birza can be seen at Willem Baars Projects in Amsterdam (opening Saturday Sep 14th, 5-7pm). Asier Mendizabal and Mark Chandler will feature in the first show of the new season at Carreras Mugica in Bilbao (opening Friday Sep 20th, 8-10pm).
