Buhlungu, former resident of WIELS and the Rijksakademie, had solo exhibitions at Kunsthalle Bern (2022) and The Showroom (London, 2020). She participated in, ‘Territories Between Us’, Iziko South African National Gallery (Cape Town), ‘Small World Real World’ (Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam, 2020-2021) and most recently, ‘The Milk of Dreams’ (Venice Biennial, 2022).
