South-African artist Dineo Seshee Bopape, former participant of De Ateliers, is one of the three artists selected to represent South Africa at the 58th Venice Biennale, in an exhibition curated by Nkule Mabaso and Nomusa Makhubu. In this exhibition ‘The Stronger We Become’ in the South Africa Pavilion at the Arsenale, Bopape will present new works alongside works by Tracy Rose and Mawande Ka Zenzile. The three artists explore the themes of social, political and economic resilience, capturing the collective fortitude of South Africans.
